Who am I? I am a clinical endocrinologist with a passion for helping patients including complex and common (or uncommon) metabolic and endocrine disorders. I am also a passionate family man, gadget and technology guy and devoted dog guardian. I am blessed with a wonderful family and a very calm Labradoodle, Skippy. When not seeing patients, involved in medical education or with family and friends I can be found running or walking (ideally outdoors) or hitting tennis balls.
Practice Philosophy: My goal is to deliver outstanding, current, thoughtful, evidence-based, patient-centered comprehensive endocrine and medical care.

I strive to be compassionate, empathetic, ethical, punctual, open-minded, inclusive, non-judgmental, dynamic, dedicated to the finest aspects of the medical profession and to always be receptive to patients concerns and ideas.

I believe in carefully listening to the concerns and goals of patients, being open minded about alternative or creative ideas, and taking time to educate patients and forge a strong therapeutic and supportive doctor-patient relationship. I am interested in the impact of endocrine disorders and the mental and social health of patients. I also believe in being a strong patient advocate. I also have an interest in health policy and wider practice, economic and social issues as relates to endocrine and medical care.

I have a strong interest in health promotion as an important complement to correctly diagnosing and managing complex endocrine and medical disorders and presentations. I strive for wide open channels of communication between referring and co-treating health providers providers, patients and their families and loves ones.

I am passionate about overall metabolic and endocrine health and the associated clinical and basic sciences.

I am also passionate about the use of technology and the application of technology to life long learning, patient care and education of peers and patients.
